I would think the dongle is faulty but with the emulator's driver, my DS3s never got disconnected! Looking for any kinds of help right now. Now I am lost and I don't know what to do. Whatever comes up in google when you search for this issue, I did it.

I also tried to switch to Microsoft's Generic Bluetooth Adapter driver and tweaking that power management setting.

I have removed and reinstalled drivers tons of times today. I am suspecting some old info from the other drive merging with the new one or something. The current one I have is a Bluetooth 4.0 dongle and I am not sure what is going wrong. I had NO problems with that old Bluetooth 1.0 dongle. I used to use the other old one to connect to Bluetooth devices since the new one was designated to work with my controller. I have another dongle that uses the same generic CSR chip and I am amazed to see that both devices show up with the same name (CSR8510 A10) under devices. Yesterday I bought an XBOX One controller so I removed the emulator completely from my system, drivers and all. I have used this dongle to emulate my PS3 controllers through SCP before and that was the reason I bought it. Both my XBOX One controller and TPLINK Bluetooth Music Reciever disconnect. While this dongle is in use, I lose connection for no reason. I have a Hama 00049218 Bluetooth dongle which uses the Cambridge Silicon Radio's Generic Radio driver.
